mouse and keyboard Xbox streaming to windows 10 console companion

If you plug the keyboard and mouse in the Xbox, and the game supports them, then you should be able to stream to your Windows 10 device using the keyboard and mouse. Currently as far as i know the app still only supports the controller when connected to
Windows 10.

If you are talking about using mouse and keyboard for gaming, that functionality has to be enabled by the developer of that game. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/ease-of-access/mouse-keyboard.
If it’s not enabeled by the developer you can’t use a mouse and keyboard.

I know that, that's not what I meant. I want to know if I can take control of my streamed game on my pc with my mouse and keyboard rather than having to plug in a controller to play

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for clarity on mouse and keyboard functionality while streaming from the Xbox. That's a good question. Actually because the games and dashboard are coming from the Xbox when streaming, you would only be able to work
with a keyboard and mouse if it's connected to the Xbox.

If you have a PC, you can download the Xbox edition to Windows 10/11 and use the keyboard and mouse. If you want to use it on Xbox and want to use keyboard and mouse, then talk to Sports Interactive and ask them to put keyboard and mouse support on the console.
