Mouse and Keyboard switches me to a different account

Who's is the account that owns the game that you are trying to play, is this a friend, family or parent? You can always have them

add you into their Microsoft Family. Once you have been added as a family member. You will need to go through the console. and log into their account first and then sign into your account afterwards. Once you do this go ahead and give it another try and
see if you are allowed to play.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. I am unable to make this my home xbox because my family is using the accounts that I have on my xbox onto theirs so their xbox is the home xbox. And yes I'm trying to access the game that the other signed-in account owns.

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue when trying to use mouse and keyboard on the Xbox One.

Is there a specific reason to why you want both of them signed in even though you are only using one of the accounts? Is this because you are accessing games that account owns? I would advise that you set up the

Home console under the account that it keeps switching over to so that you can still have access to those games and not be logged into the account.

Thank you for the additional suggestion to unplug the keyboard and mouse after switching profiles. The mouse continues to work, but not the keyboard after switching profiles. When I switch back to the owner profile, the keyboard works fine. Very strange. Any other suggestions?
