Mouse and Keyboard randomly disconnecting whilst playing on Xbox series s (Fortnite, MW2)

I have never experienced this issue before, but around 2 weeks ago, all of a sudden, whenever I play keyboard and mouse games such as Fortnite or Warzone 2, my keyboard and mouse would suddenly disconnect, my character would be walking right with no control. Around 2 seconds later, I would regain control but have an annoying black cursor on my screen that I can’t get rid of. After that, this happens multiple times around every 30 seconds. It’s extremely infuriating as I mostly only play keyboard and mouse, and having issues like this makes it unplayable. I have tested multiple keyboards and Mouses and they all show the same result.

I have had this problem for months and I have done literally everything and it still doesn’t fix, I want to know if this is a problem with the software or my Xbox console? Like can it get fixed if I take to a store that fixed consoles will it get fixed?

Question. Is is it a gaming keyboard and mouse or a wireless?

If gaming then thats the issue

Your polling rate is higher when the consoles are only meant for normal keyboards

And if wireless those are meant to be uses with their own adapters for pc NOTs Consoles

I have the same problem. Really annoying. There wasn't this problem before. Did you find a solution? Did Microsoft help?

Interesting that i have not such a problem in Cyberpunk. But Fortnite and The Finals. Frustrating

Kindly perform a factory reset keep my games and apps.

Before you proceed with your Factory reset I just want to inform you that you will only choose Reset and keep my games and apps to make sure your saved data won't be deleted permanently and also all of the accounts that are set as home Xbox will be removed and all signed in accounts will be signed out from the console.

To reset your console without losing your game data, follow these steps:

NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select System.

4. Select Console info

5. Select Reset console.

6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

This will also help sync the data on your console properly.

Please take your time and let me know if it works.

I have been experiening the same issue for about 2 months now. Doesn't seem to be any solution and it seems to be an issue on xbox's end. For me some days it isnt as bad as others. Like the other day it happened maybe twice the whole day, but today it is happening literally every 5 seconds. I hope a solution is found soon because it makes games unplayable.
