Mouse and keyboard on Xbox one, would you like it to come true?

Hello comrades of Xbox platform, apparently Microsoft his working in a project that will allow xbox users to use keyboard and mouse on our favorite console, I think it's a very good idea if they implement
it, can you imagine how many PC users it could attract to the platform because of this?, I am used to play with controllers, but I confess to perform better in FPS with mouse and keyboard. It seems that MS could be working together with Razer for this project
wich is a very reliable company and well know by their high quality products.

Tell us if you are excited about this project is carried out, and if you prefer to play with Keyboard and mouse or Controller.

Controller vs keyboard and mouse

When keyboard & mouse support comes to the xbox one you don't have to use it & if you use a controller you do not have to play against keyboard/mouse users & vice versa.

It will detect keyboard users & wont put them in with controller users unless you want to play against them.

Other than RTS games I would never use a keyboard/mouse on a console,in fact I use a controller on PC if I can.

Controllers all day long for me.

Pages like these appear from time to time yet as xbox ambassadors we should make use only of the official confirmation. So far there hasn't been an official confirmation from MS so I suggest you to be careful with the info you post in the forums

As you can read in the post I use the word "apparently", I never say that it is official. My post is more to know if the community is attracted and excited about this idea and to exchange criteria about
it, it is assumed that this is one of the reasons why the forums exist.

Who knows, whether or not this is a real project, it is still a good idea, if something I like about Microsoft is that it is characterized by listening to its users and using feedback to improve their
products. This is one of the reasons why I am faithful to this company.

But do not worry, next time I will be more careful when exercising the right to express myself, I will choose the words better to avoid any possible confusion, because that was never my intention. Thanks

No I wouldn't like M&K on xbox. It gives a huge advantage over controller players. The only way I think it should be implemented is if M&K players are matched in a separate lobby than regular controller players

 

To be honest I don't think it matters what type of controller you use. If you prefer mouse & keyboard, then use it. I personally prefer a controller. Games could have an option to choose the type of control you want to use and then put you in a different
lobby specifically for that controller.

Yes you are sooo rigth, i wasnt thinking about this you mentioned, will be a clear advantage to who has the K & M over who have the controller. And at the same time you proposition about to match in separate lobbies will be a good solution for that. But
of course will take more work from MS to make this possible. Isn't so easy as it looks.

I agree with you about the possibility to choose wich one is more convenient for an specific game, i also like to use both devices, if its about racing games, fighting or 3rd person i will choose controller over keyboard. But i think the advantage is clear
in FPS with K & M over controller, and as Viral Cyrix mentioned MS must work in some kind of software or plug in to make this characteristics more fair for gamers.

One thing i love from Xbox Live is that FPS in consoles are most of the time free of cheaters if you compare with PC plataform. I own some FPS in both plataforms, and i really enjoy it more to play it on Xbox because in PC every match you find someone cheating,
most of my friends are from PC, they doesnt have an Xbox and i always tell them about how good is to play FPS in Xbox, but they always told me... - You know if will be possible to use K & M there we will concider to play on console - , then this makes me think
about how much PC gamers doesnt think about an xbox as possible plataform to play, just because they cannot use K & M. Also with all this new great idea about Crossplay will be a great solution to bring more users to Xbox and take advantage over the competition.

I think that instead of attracting pc players, it would move xbox players to other consoles.

I used the pc for years and the main reason that pushed me towards the consoles is "ready out of the box".

If playing with K & M was essential, I would still play with the pc.
