    Login Information

    • Gateway - 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1
    • Login Username - admin
    • Login Password - motorola

    How to Find SSID (Network Name)

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Wireless on the across the top.
    4. Select Primary Network on the left.
    5. The SSID is located on this page labeled Network Name (SSID).


    How to Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Wireless on the across the top.
    4. Select Primary Network on the left.
    5. The password is on this page in the box labeled “Pre Shared Key”.


    Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Wireless on the across the top.
    4. Select Primary Network on the left.
    5. The security is on this page. Select Enabled on desired security type. (To turn off the security, select Disabled on all the security types.)
    6. Click Apply.


    MAC Filtering

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Advanced at the top.
    4. Select MAC Filtering on the left.
    5. Select Clear All.
    6. Select Apply.


    Change Wireless Channel

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Wireless on the across the top.
    4. Select Basic on the left
    5. Select from the drop down menu labeled Channel. (1,3,9 or 11)
    6. Click Apply.


    Change Wireless Mode

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Wireless on the across the top.
    4. Select Advanced on the left.
    5. Select “54g Performance” from the drop labeled “54g Mode”.
    6. Click Apply.


    DHCP Reservation

    *This device does not support this option*



    UPnP

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Advanced from the Top menu.
    4. Select Options from the left.
    5. Check or uncheck the UPnP box.
    6. Select Apply.


    DMZ

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Advanced from the Top menu.
    4. Select DMZ from the left hand menu.
    5. Enter the Xbox’s IP Address.
    6. Click Apply.


    Disable DMZ

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Advanced from the Top menu.
    4. Select DMZ from the left hand menu.
    5. Enter “0” in the box.
    6. Click Apply.


    Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Advanced from the Top menu.
    4. Select Forwarding from the left.
    5. For Local IP Adr type in the IP Address of the Xbox.
    6. In Start/End Port type 3074.
    7. Select Both for Protocol.
    8. Put a check mark in the Enable box.
    9. Select Apply.


    Disable Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Advanced from the Top menu.
    4. Select Forwarding from the left.
    5. Uncheck the Enabled box on the ports that you would like to remove.
    6. Select Apply.


    Firewall

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Firewall on the across the top.
    4. Select Web Filter on the left.
    5. Uncheck IP Flood Detection and Firewall Protection.
    6. Select Apply.


    Restore Factory Defaults

    Through Firmware

    1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Status across the top.
    4. Select Security on left.
    5. Select “Yes” under Restore Factory Defaults.
    6. Select Apply.
    Through Hardware

    1. Plug the computer into a LAN port via an ethernet cable.
    2. Locate the reset button on the device.
    3. With paperclip/pen/toothpick hold down the reset button down for 30 seconds.
    4. Wait for lights to turn off then return to normal.


    How to Find Firmware Version

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Status on the top.
    4. Select Software on the left.
    5. The firmware version is on this page labeled Software Version.

    Known Issues

    It may be required to disable Firewall Protection and IP Flood Detection if you’re experiencing lag and/or intermittent disconnections.

    How to Find Wireless Passphrase (WPA/WEP)

    3. Select Wireless on the left.
    4. Select Security across the top.
    5. Select Basic.
    6. If WPA the password is on this page in the box labeled “PSK Passphrase”.
    7. IF WEP the password is located next to “Yes Key 1”.


    Changing Wireless Security Type/ Disabling Wireless Security

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Wireless on the left.
    4. Select Security across the top.
    5. Select Basic.
    6. Select desired Security Mode at the top. (To turn off the security, select None)
    7. Select Save Changes.


    MAC Filtering

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Wireless on the left.
    4. Select Security across the top.
    5. Select Advanced.
    6. Select the radio button for Allow Any Station Access.
    7. Click Apply.


    Change Wireless Channel

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Wireless on the left.
    4. Select Network across the top.
    5. Select from the drop down menu labeled Channel. (1,3,9 or 11)
    6. Click Save Changes.


    Change Wireless Mode

    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Wireless on the across the top.
    4. Select Network on the top.
    5. Select “11g Enhanced” from the drop labeled “Operating Mode”.
    6. Click Save Changes.


    DHCP Reservation

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Gateway from the left.
    4. Select DHCP Leases across the top.
    5. In the section “Reserve New IP Address” type in the consoles MAC address.
    6. Also type the IP Address of the Xbox.
    7. For host name Type “Xbox”
    8. Select Add.


    UPnP

    *This device does not support this feature*



    DMZ

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Gateway from the left.
    4. Select DHCP Leases across the top.
    5. In the drop down labeled DMZ host select the Xbox. (The Xbox must already have a reserved IP Address)
    6. Click Apply.


    Disable DMZ

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Gateway from the left.
    4. Select DHCP Leases across the top.
    5. In the drop down labeled DMZ host select Disable.
    6. Click Apply.


    Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Gateway from the left.
    4. Select Port Forwarding from the top.
    5. For Template select Custom.
    6. For Name type Xbox
    7. In Port Start and Port End enter 3074.
    8. In LAN IP Address enter the Xbox’s IP Address
    9. Put a check mark in the Enable box.
    10. Select Add.
    11. Select Apply.


    Disable Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Gateway from the left.
    4. Select Port Forwarding from the top.
    5. Find the port you want to remove on the list at the bottom.
    6. Uncheck mark in the Enable box.
    7. Put a check in the Delete box.
    8. Select Apply.
    Firewall

    1. Open a web browser.
    2. Enter 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.100.1 in the address bar. Enter the username and password if the gateway asks (admin/motorola).
    3. Select Firewall on the left.
    4. Select the Policy tab.
    5. Select Basic under the “Policy” tab.
    6. Select desired setting. (low or none)
    7. Select Apply.

    Known Issues

    It is required to do a DHCP reservation on this device, in order to set up any device in the DMZ.



    Also note that there is no UPnP on this device, so Port Forwarding or DMZ might be the only way to get an open NAT on the console.
