    More than one xbox


    Just bought my son a series X and I have to sign in to let him play the game pass games on it .but means I can't play on other Xbox using gamepass as thats the one set up as home Xbox. Would it be better to change his to the home one and if so would I be able to play using gamepass on older one.

    Any help would be appriciated

    Yes, you want to make his Xbox the "home" Xbox.

    However, you need to do that with YOUR account and your account needs to stay on that Xbox (you don't need to be signed on anymore after making the 'home' Xbox change).

    Make sure no other account on that Xbox has it set as the 'home' Xbox.

    After making those changes on your Xbox only you have access to Gold/Game Pass and you have to be signed in to your account.

    You need to check if the billing occurs for your account. It might be, that due to a missed payment for your subscription in the past, they are billing twice the amount. Once for the current payment, and one for the past missed payment.

    You can see that under
    https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders


    However, if you added your credit card or payment info to another account (e.g. an account for your kid, or your partner), only they can then end the subscription on their own account.

    If you suspect your credit card was fraudulently used, you will have to ask your credit card company to block these payments, or issue you a completely new card.

    Microsoft themselves can only help you manage your subscriptions on your own account. You can try to contact them via

    There click on the Billing&Account icon, and if a virtual agent appears, click on "Show other options" under the green button.

    Then choose the most appropriate topic from the list, and at the bottom click on the "Contact Options" button.

    Depending on the time of day and times of operation in your country, you should then see several tiles where you can chat with support, or have them call you back.
