    More Sonic Games in Backwards Compatibility


    I think we need more Sonic games to become backwards compatible. Currently there are 13 Xbox 360 Sonic games and 0 Original Xbox Sonic games that are backwards compatible (not including Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Classics). With Sonic Origins coming out, that makes 5 of these titles obsolete, which leaves us with 8 titles. The games that I think should be added to backwards compatibility are:

    Xbox - Sonic Riders, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Sonic Heroes

    Xbox 360 - Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) and Sonic and SEGA All-Stars Racing

    No Sonic Mega Collection Plus because, as stated earlier, Sonic Origins is soon coming out with remastered versions of the main titles in Mega Collection Plus. Also, no Sonic Free Riders because I don't think the kinect is even being produced anymore.

    And yes I do believe Sonic 06 should be made backwards compatible because everyone knows how infamous this game is but many people have not had the chance to play it due to it being gen-locked two console generations ago. Two big problems (not the biggest, but still big) with the game are loading times and insane frame drops which would both be basically eliminated with the Series X and S.

    Yeah I know each 13 Sonic games are add backwards compatibility now on xbox one, But still need add more sonic games included Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing (2010), Sonic The Hedgehog (2006), SEGA Superstars Tennis, Sonic Mega Collection Plus, Sonic Free
    Riders, Sonic Riders, Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection, Shadow The Hedgehog (video game) and Sonic Heroes to add Xbox One for next backwards compatible on future cause I still like Sonic games alot with gamers experiences after 13 Sonic games.

    Yes, I fully agree with you. Sonic Generations has been made backwards compatible while amazing games like Sonic unleashed have still not. We have waited 5 YEARS for unleashed to be backwards compatible and it still is not. The old voting website was far
    better than the current stupid xbox ideas website. If we can get our voices heard than hopefully we can get an amazing and beautiful game as Sonic unleashed backwards compatible!

    Backward compatibility starts with the permission of the publisher. You may want to contact Sega and see if they have any plans on bringing more of their Sonic games to Xbox One BC.
