More games in the Xbox X cloud streaming app

I don't see how these things are related? Xcloud is great for what it's supposed to do, but isn't quite the same as streaming your games from your Xbox over your network to another device.

X cloud actually will allow you to stream from your console, in addition to streaming from Microsoft servers. Both devices can be on the same network, but allows flexibility in that they don't HAVE to be. I imagine they want to keep all streaming services
together for simplicity. It's also possible they are revamping the Xbox app to be more stable and compatible with the Series X console releasing this year, as well.

I think the xbox play anywhere thing is kind of the best implementation of a portable xbox. a surface can run a decent collection of games you'd ALREADY own from xbox, and the option to stream is with the x cloud for more powerful stuff.

Since a few days, Xbox App stream just show a black screen, whether I want to stream from cloud, my XSX, or XO.

Old "Companion" app still streams perfectly for XO. Cloud works perfectly from browsers on the PC. It's clearly the Xbox App that's at fault here.

I am also having the same problem but on my xbox series x as well as streaming on the xbox app on my pc. On whatever platform, all my settings (apart from the controller tab) does not get saved and reverts back to the default. This is limited to the Halo Infinite game only. My internet connection is really good for streaming on cloud gaming and like services so that is not the problem.

This is 100% a fail by MS. The xbox companion app got a new update and since this update the streaming feature is gone / broken so MS have to fix IMMEDIATELY because there is no other way to play on PC with your Xbox One X if it is not a Gamepass / cloud game. (and of course there are a lot of threads here about this issue!)
