More Characters For Usernames on Accounts

yeah, I just sucked it up and changed it to "SvenTheDrago" and at the time of posting that question, I didn't realize that the reduced character limit was put in place so that we can have whatever username we want, so I'm cool with the reduced character
limit now.

The only way to swap the names of the accounts would be to change the tag to something else and then rename then, paying each time. But you would be limited to the 12 characters when you make the change.

The 12 character limit went into place in 06/2019. It's so people can use a gamertag even if someone else is already using it. If someone else already has the tag, you would be given a suffix (# and numbers) which is why the limit was shortened. If you had
a gamertag that was over the 12 characters prior to the change, you were not made to change it, but if you change it now you cannot go back to a 15 character tag.

I have the same problem, the game get stuck in the blue bar after download the update. Do your username have strange characters?

I read that in the folder C\:User\"Username", the username cannot contain strange characters. My user have it.

My username was the issue. I use a gmail alias for my account name on sundayticket.tv:

This isn't an issue on sundayticket.tv, or on the internet in general, or the PS4 Sunday ticket application. But the XBox one NFL app doesn't appear to encode the username string properly and it blows up when confronted with a '+' character in the username.
