Monster hunter rise, Xbox live gold requirement

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I understand that you purchased Monster Hunter Rise and it's saying that you need to purchase it.

If you already have the base game (Monster Hunter Rise) and you want to play the Sunbreak Edition, you will just need to purchase the Sunbreak expansion separately as a DLC.

Hi, This problem is obviously caused by Capcom's DRM policy.
If you own Monster Hunter Rise(Normal), the game(with DLC) will work normally.
But, if you have installed only the Gamepass without purchasing the normal version, the game will not work.
An update patch from Capcom or Microsoft is required.

I did the steps,and it worked,i could launch the game with no problems,not even my safe-file was affected (which i was also worried about)

Please provide the troubleshooting steps that you've tried as well.

To ensure that your issue is not related to device cache, I would recommend that you perform a power cycle, kindly follow the steps below:

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 50 seconds.

Important: Make sure that you wait at least 50 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

3. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If you don't see the green boot-up animation when the console restarts, repeat these steps. Make sure that you hold the power button until the console completely shuts down.

Important If your console is in Sleep mode, the above steps will shut the console off completely. Sleep mode, or the ability to turn on your console by saying "Xbox on," won't be enabled until you restart the console.

Once booted up, please try accessing the game again.
