    I am buying my son an Xbox One S for his birthday and have a unused 27 inch Dell Monitor (model 2714 Tt) from 2013 in the garage. Will the monitor work ok / at all with the Xbox one? Thanks for any advice

    Monitor not recognizing Xbox One X randomly (not a monitor problem)

    Ok i guess i can always buy another monitor and see if it works. Is there a reason why this monitor worked for a month and all of a sudden it doesn't work with the Xbox?

    Can I used a dvd player with monitor as the monitor for an xbox 360? I don;t have TV or cable. So this would be the screen monitor. Will that work?

    Hey there, as long as the Monitor has HDMI, it will work.

    As stated by other fellow ambassadors, if the monitor has an HMDI port it will work, if not, you can use a HMDI/VGA converter, I cannot assure you that it will work but I'm sure it's worth trying, they're pretty cheap (about 4$) and have many uses. I personally
    used one of these and it worked just fine.

    Console streaming refuses to work, does not provide reason why, how do I fix this?

    Assuming what is suggested above doesn't work, can you not plug your Xbox into your computer monitor? Or does your monitor not work with the Xbox One?

    Just trying to work out if there is a cheaper way to get around only having one display. I used to only have a monitor (my TV was rubbish) so I used to have my PC connected by DP and my Xbox by HDMI. If your monitor only has one HDMI port and no DP port, maybe you could get an HDMI splitter (think a decent one is around $30, could possibly get one for less)?
