Monitor not reading HDMI output

Hello,

I've been using my computer for about four years, and the monitor has recently started freezing regularly. It will freeze, and then the monitor will go black and say there is no HDMI output from my device. I have tried powering my PC off and back on (including fully disconnecting the power supply), and it comes back after 5 minutes to 5 hours. I have also tried rebooting while holding F6 to reset BIOS, but it hasn't seemed to change the outcome; the first time I did it, it fixed immediately, but that was a few hours after the initial crash, and it hasn't worked instantly since. I have also tried different HDMI cords and also different HDMI inputs on both my monitor and my PC, resetting my monitor, and updating my GPU drivers. The weird thing to me is that the PC always comes back on after a period of time and it seems to crash pretty randomly, it has crashed mere minutes after booting and the only thing I've even opened is Firefox, and it's stayed on the entire time while playing high-intensity video games for hours. I have an NVIDIA GeForce 2060 Super for a GPU.

This seems to be an issue with your Graphics Card.

Please, contact NVIDIA support, you may need to send it for repairs or get a new one.

Try doing a clean install of the graphics driver.

Open the Device Manager window by pressing the Windows Key + X and Select "Device Manager".

Select Display Adapter > Right-click the device, and click Uninstall Device > OK

Restart your PC.

Then, enter your graphics card manufacturer page, and download and install the latest drivers.

If you have a HDMI input on your monitor, you should be able to use it as a screen. Connect your HDMI to the input on the monitor and output on the console.

make sure the monitor has speakers, i have a monitor, no speakers but headphone jack output, if the monitor does have speakers go to xbox settings, audio and check that stereo output is selected under hdmi audio.

Turn the volume on the monitor to 0, as I do with my TV if I'm using the optical audio being output to my receiver. You can't disable the HDMI audio.

Mini-HDMI is just the regular HDMI pinout in smaller form factor. Strange that your monitor uses mini-HDMI, but you don't need a special adapter. You would just need to get an HDMI-to-mini HDMI cable. For a monitor of that caliber (and price), it had better
at least come with one of these cables!

You also mentioned it's HDMI is version 2.0. HDMI 2.0 is the required version for the Xbox One S/X to output 4K@60Hz with HDR, so it
should display without a problem. The things you read about some monitors only supporting up to 4K@30Hz is because their HDMI ports are version 1.4.
