Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this problem. I can totally understand how that could be pretty distressing. Have you tried other HDMI cords or televisions? I also recommend making sure that your console is directly plugged
into the wall outlet while on.

If those things have been tried, I suggest trying a soft factory reset
of the console (the kind that let's you keep your games & apps).
However if that does not work, you might have to consider replacing your console.
