Money in account is missing

I had money in my account and went to purchase something and the money was not there. Checked purchase history but everything seems normal. Could the money have expired?

Have you checked your
https://billing.microsoft.com information yet? Under transactions it should show you all purchases made as well as confirming how much is remaining in your account. If it turns out that you are missing something I would recommend contacting Microsoft

Hi, my account has ran out of Gold membership. Its been about 2 months since. On the last day (October 29th), I checked how much money was in my account and at the time I had roughly 15 dollars or 1200msp. I checked again yesterday and I now have $6.51,
but I dont know how. The last item I had bought was the Apocalypse DLC for Call of Duty Black ops 2. How can I lose money?! Especially points that have already been redeemed. My brother has an account but hasnt bought anything because he only has $1.50. Can
someone help me? Ive had this account for almost 4 years and this is the first time this has happened. Any help would be appreciated.

Go to Sign in to your Microsoft account and check your transaction history.

It's possible you had some promotional currency which expired; it will be shown on that page.

 

You can go to Microsoft.com and click on your account to view purchase history.
