    Modern Warfare 2 - the current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live


    Greetings.

    Today i've finally bought an xbox series S and subscribed a Games Pass Ultimate on my profile.
    I've downloaded and launched Call of Duty - Modern Warfare 2 but, when trying to access multiplayer, i get "the current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox Live" message.
    I've already checked the settings and it seems is all ok.
    Do i have to wait some time for the Live Gold to activate or there's some other issue?
    Please help!

    How come when I try to sign into Xbox live on modern warfare 3 it says your current profile is not allowed to play on Xbox live, how do I fix this

    Try doing a hard reset (hold down the power button on the console until it turns off, unplug it, plug it back in, then turn it back on). It may just need to resync.

    Salutations! The Gamepass Ultimate subscription should kick in just a few seconds after being redeemed. You might need to check out if there are any restrictions of any sort enabled, or if you're actually logged into an Activision account. I'm pretty new to doing this "helping fix technical difficulties" stuff, so I may easily be wrong. Wouldn't hurt to double check settings, either.

    It is 100% set as my home xbox. It allowed me to play Fortnite but not Modern Warfare 2

    This may mean that the Xbox Live Gold subscription is no longer active on your friend's account or his account is no longer set as Home Xbox on your console.

    Kindly ask your friend to sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services and check if the subscription is still active.
