[Mod Removed] XBL, lost me hrs of game progress with your circle logic

[Mod Removed] lost me hrs of game progress because I can't save my game unless I connect to xbox live, I can't connect ot xbox live with out it trying to force an update, like a screwed up circle that lost me hrs of play time.

I should be able to log into xbox live in game, and be able to save before any forced update. more so when im at the save menu, why would you force an update mid game... [Mod Removed]

Autosaves not working

Has any progress been made on this? Just picked up the game and lost a good 6 hrs worth of saves.

 

Boot program

We'll see if it's altered. I spent about 20 minutes on the phone with XBL support and just got lip service. About an hour after I got off the phone with her the guy found me in a game and booted me again. Also, I spelled his g-tag wrong..its
[Mod Removed]. The thing that gets me is how MS has completely lost control of XBL and certain games. I pay for this???

 

I'm unaware of any system updates being pushed out today or even in the past few weeks. You should be able to save just fine unless the specific game in question requires an internet connection. Certain games do have this limitation but you wouldn't be
able to play those offline.

As far as system updates go, everyone gets them at approximately the same time if connected to Xbox LIVE and everyone is required to have the update to connect to the server. I've not been aware of any game or technology that allows for version mismatch
since the mid-90s.

 

GTA V jan 11 update, it would not allow me to save the game until XBL reconnected, XBL would not connect unless I let it update GTA V, a circle of pain for no good reason. More so the updates was just anti cheat stuff for the online version. Losing me hrs
of play time in story mode.

 

If you play the story mode, you will see how the game forces you into keep playing, not allowing you to save until a mission is done, then often it goes right into another, keeping you tied up not being able to save till its done with you.

 

That's a Rockstar issue then, not an Xbox issue.

 

Well there you go, that's on Rockstar not Microsoft. Rockstar is the one who pushed out the title update so Xbox LIVE isn't to blame, Microsoft is just helping Rockstar ensure that everyone is running the same version of the software who is connected to
the internet. If you have a complaint I suggest you take it up with Rockstar Games.
