[Mod Removed]- Hacker

This Guy was on strikezone FFA, with 5 clanmates, all 10/60 except for him and 1 other, and was teleporting them and anyone else right in front of hi, had an orange box around every enemy, and was using default weapon.

[/quote]I doubt he hacked you it was probably someone who knows your password.Just change your password and email if anything.And if he does have your info banning him won't stop him =/

Because this isnt a support forum. Its just a discussion forum that is frequented by just other gamers and a few mods to keep us inline.



Basically, anyone could come here and acuse anyone of anything, true or not. So just to make sure noone comes here and says you are a gamer score cheating, tax evading, drug dealing child molester ..... they just dont allow any of it.

 

Thanks TOG, I get that. Still kind of strange for me to see multiple people naming the same person as hacking, and the first thing people say is "don't name them". I guess if you have a rule, you need to enforce it throughout though.

 

Funny how the mods don't help or offer suggestion EVER, only delete and remove what "they" don't like. They are nearly useless.

 

What do you mean? She told him to rep[ort in-game. Thats about the only good suggestion....... other than to dashboatd of you find yourself in one.. I really think they ought to put that in the tips on the game..

I think the 'don't name and shame' policy is extremely weak. If they took the Gamertags that were being reported and sent them to the Enforcement Team so that they could actually be investigated it would make much more sense.

To delete the tags and leave it at that means the players have to go back and play against them to actually report them if they haven't already. They should, of course, report them but a lot of players believe reporting them on the Forums will actually do
something. That's not surprising for Call of Duty players given Activision's approach, of course.

All I want them to do is copy the names, send them to the Enforcement Team then delete them from the Forums.

 

How do you know they dont?

If they did so and it was known, it would just encourage people to report them here rather than in-game. Better to just cut out the middleman and send people to the best place.

The best way for any action to take place is to report in game or by filing a complaint on the player.

If a Gamertag is posted on the Forums and that person is accused of cheating/modding/whatever, do you actually take it to the XBLPET/take some similar action before removing it?

If anyone were to report me here I would far rather someone investigate the claim than bury it. No harm in verifying whether I do or not and taking necessary action. What if I do cheat? It would be a big missed opportunity if claims made on the Forums are
simply ignored.
