    I used my mobile hotspot all day yesterday, and now it won't turn on it says it can take it can't turn it on. and I use my mobile hotspot so I can use the internet for my school and I wanted to use it for my Xbox now I can't connect to my Xbox

    Phone Hot-Spotting

    I'm at a university that uses Eduroam and for multiple reasons I cannot connect with out spending $50 on an ethernet adapter for my Mac and connect with network sharing or I can try my phone. The problem with that is that my phone connects but DNS issues
    cause the Xbox to not connect to Xbox Live. Is there any way to fix this?

    Sorry to hear that you're experiencing difficulty, however do you mind providing a little more detail as to what's going on?

    If your mobile hotspot off of your phone or other mobile device is not turning on, then we won't really be able to help you with that as much as your mobile carrier.

    If your console is no longer connecting to your Mobile Hotspot, I would suggest following the steps here on our support page entitled "I
    get an error message when I run the 'Test network connection' on Xbox One"

    When you get a chance, please give us a little more information so that we can accurately resolve this together.

    Unable to update games due to 0x87e00005

    It worked for us over a hot spot mobile provider Vodafone. We started the download on the hot-spot then once it had started switched to Three mobile WiFi through the hauwei router and the download of rainbow six seige completed saving data on the hot-spot.
    But the queued games didn't so we will have to start any download/update on the hot spot then switch over.

    Where is your Xbox failing to connect? Is it connecting to the Hot spot ok, and getting an IP address, but can't connect to Xbox Live? Or, is it not even getting connected to the hot spot at all?
