Mobile payment option is not available.

The mobile payment option does not come for me when I try to add a payment option. I live in the United Arab Emirates and have an Etisalat sim which is affiliated with Microsoft. What to do??? Please help.

Sorry about this issue that you are having trying to use mobile app. As of now it's only available on these providers.

Credit cards, including prepaid credit cards
Debit cards (not available in all regions)
PayPal (not available in all regions)
Mobile operator billing (not available in all
regions)
Direct debit (Germany only)

Unfortunately you will not be able to pay for a past due subscription with your Microsoft account balance.

You will need to have one of the below payment options to be able to pay for the past due subscription.

Payment options include:

Credit cards, including prepaid credit cards
Debit cards (not available in all regions)
PayPal (not available in all regions)
Mobile operator billing (not available in all regions)
Direct debit (Germany only)

Thanks for reaching out to us today. I would like to clarify a bit, are you trying to add your mobile phone as a payment method? If so, to add a new payment option for your Microsoft Store purchases , use the following steps:

In a browser, go to
My Account.
If needed, sign in to the Microsoft account you want to change.
Select Payment & billing, and then select Payment options.
Select Add a payment option, and then follow the steps to set up your credit card, debit card, or PayPal account and Mobile Phone
(Which is available only in certain regions)

Select Add a payment option
Select Mobile phone
