MMS displayed through my Xbox without warning

The stealth 600 uses the 3.5 mm input and there is a mute icon on my home screen. My controller is up to date, i do get a warning message and i do not have any other controllers.

I got it sorted.... kind of. Basically, I spoke to someone on a live chat and they told me it's not displaying because I have " 凰 " in my name. However, with the new changes it was my understanding I'd be able to use any name and have it display. Now I'm left WITHOUT my free name change and being forced to pay when I had no warning whatsoever that this name wouldn't display. Which is a bit unfair in my opinion.

I couldn't find any report option in the app, that's why I posted here.

Anyway, I figured that the problem is related to how you choose to display the date in Windows.

I originally had it set to dd/mm/yyyy. If I switch it to m/dd/yy, yy-mm-dd, or yyyy-mm-dd (this option is in the list twice for some reason) then the problem with the app is fixed.

See if you can replicate this yourself. I would like to keep my settings the way I like them and not the way Xbox likes them.

Yes, I’m using a headdset with a 3.5 mm jack. I’ve also tried my earbuds and have the same problem. Yes, I get a warning that no headset can be found and yes there is a mute symbol next to the battery on the home screen.

I have Turtle Beach X41's and use them with the Xbox One without any issues, however you will not be able to plug the 2.5 mm jack into the 3.5 mm controller port as it's too large - you will need to buy a 2.5 to 3.5 mm adapter cable, they're inexpensive
so you might as well buy a couple extras just in case.
