I also have a problem with receiving the pistol skin. I logged into mixer, using the e-mail for the Microsoft account i had Sea of Theives on. However, the skin code was sent to a different Microsoft account. When I sign into Mixer using either e-mail, it
logs into the same account so I assumed I would receive the skin on the account I actually had the game. It was my first time using Mixer, and I don't know why my login would have been linked to a different account.

how to access your DLC in-game that may help you find that; otherwise, we'd recommend

submitting a ticket with Sea of Thieves directly as they'll have the best information for you regarding the status of that item.
