Missing Xbox live rewards credits

I am 100% sure I am missing a lot of rewards points. For one I’ve paid for a 1 year gold subscription for two years in a row now. I’ve also been a member for 6 years and the only activity I have is from 5-6 years ago other then survey activity. I’ve paid
for numerous games and preorders since then. I know of a few movies and songs here and there. And also a bunch of 1 month gold subscriptions. Why am I not being rewarded for this activity when I’ve seen numerous offers for stuff like this. One particular promotion
I remember is when prey was out for preorder anybody that preordered it would get a set amount of rewards points. I’ve never seen any deposits other then for the survey on my account

If you are thinking about buying gold then do it with my referral as you can get 5,000 XBL reward credits. What do I get? I get 1,000 credits if you buy gold when I refer you.

Xbox Live Reward credits can be deposited into your local currency after you get 1,000. You also get exclusive offers sometimes and can get thing cheaper. There are also offers that will earn you credits like pre-ordering games. more info is here: Xbox Live Rewards

Just to make clear as I know some people get confused this is a referral to buy gold. Not to sign up to xbox live rewards.

just got an email saying I unlocked a new vip reward but when I go there it shows nothing new

For help with the Rewards program, you would need to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions support forum. Keep in .ind that in order to receive credits ,your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least
1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

As of July 1, 2014, there are no offers to receive credits for renewing gold.

Only Xbox Live Rewards members are eligible for Xbox Live Rewards Credits. Since you are not a member, you do not have any Rewards Credits.

When you migrated your account region did you also opt out of the Rewards program and re-register? Migrating your account region won't automatically update your region in the Rewards program.

When you registered into the program, we created a Rewards Account based in your Microsoft Account region. Since this is account is separate from your Microsoft Account, if you migrate your Microsoft Account, that change will not be reflected in your Rewards
Account.

You will have to opt out of your account at (https://rewards.xbox.com/optout/) to close your Australian Rewards Account (which is no longer a supported region) and sign back into the
program to create a new Rewards Account based on your current Microsoft Account region. While we will be able to recover and un-deposited (pending) Credits, all your other progress will not be able to be recovered. Since you did not have any MyVIP stars, this
will not be an issue. Creating this new account will also have the benefit of causing your purchases in CAD to be Rewarded. Since you are currently a Australian Rewards member, we were only tracking purchases in AUD.

The opt-out process generally takes two days to complete, and the sign-up process also usually takes two days. To confirm that you have re-registered correctly, you can check your join date from the MyRewards page at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).
If your join date shows a specific date, then your account has successfully been re-registered. If you see “???” then your account is still being created. If you open a new post after being able to log in to your new Rewards account, you can request any pending
deposits from your old account to your new one.
