Missing State of Decay Year One Survival promotion code from State of Decay 2 Ultimate Edition

Earlier today I pre-ordered “State of Decay 2 Ultimate Edition”. As part of that pre-order I was supposed to receive a code for “State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition”. The description says that “A code for State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition on
Xbox One will be sent to your Xbox Live account shortly after purchase.” As of yet I haven’t received that code, could you please help me with this? Thanks

State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition will receive a code for State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition in their Xbox Live message center shortly before the launch of State of Decay 2 so there's no reason to worry.

• Early Access - play State of Decay 2 four days early before the game’s standard release date

• State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition (Console version)

• Independence Pack*

Thanks for the clarification, I had the same question (purchased yesterday and still haven't seen it). That text really should be updated since I would never consider 7-10 days to be "shortly after purchase".

It's clearly stated:

State of Decay 2: Ultimate Edition includes: • State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition
(Console version)

Pay attention at the version of the game only for console, that for the simple reason that State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition is not part of play anywhere list.

Hi! According to the store page description you don't receive a code and instead the game is tied to your gamertag:

'State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition and add-on content downloads require up to 25GB. ISP fees apply. Xbox Live account required.

State of Decay: Year-One Survival Edition may be downloaded to your Xbox One console by selecting “My Games and Apps”, then selecting “Ready to Install”. Included content will automatically be added to Ready to Install, without the need of a download code.
