Missing Spyro: the reignited trilogy Code

I'd recommend checking out the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. This is the first three Spyro games remastered.

I remember playing Spyro when I was younger, but haven't tried the Reignited Trilogy. I'll have to check it out!

Is there anyone who can help me with this? The only reason I bought this through the Microsoft store was for the xbox avatar promotion. I could have easily bought this game for $10 cheaper somewhere else if I knew you guys weren't going to deliver on the
promotion.

The game was bought on December 1st and redeemed the same night. The person I got it for has not yet received the Spyro prop. Was it sent as a code to her email or should it have gone to her through a message on the xbox?
