Missing Space from a game that stopped installing

Try taking ownership for XboxGames/WindowsApps folder

Press Windows + E and go to the drive where game is installed.

Enter to XboxGames folder (or the WindowsApp) and right click on it and select properties > Go to the Security tab and select Advanced:

Click on Continue in the Permissions tab > Select Change > Click Advanced in the Select User or Group window, then Find now:

Select your user account and click on Ok > Click on Ok and Apply on every window and close them.

That should do the trick, keep me posted if necessary

Same things happened to me and my friend. He just had to unintall his Cold War and reinstall it but for me it says installation stopped too. I try to reinstall it and it just says installation stopped over and over again. However the space that Cold War took up on my hard drive is still there so the 100GB+ plus storage it took for Cold War is still missing from my hard drive for some reason. Ive restarted my xbox and uninstalled games for extra space but it still doesn't work

If you wish to cancel an installation, highlight the title in the "install queue" and press the menu button on the controller and select the option to stop or cancel the installation. This removes the partial game install from the console and frees up the
space.

Do you know for a fact that you have adequate space on your drive to install this game? Your Xbox One will automatically stop installing when there is insufficient space left.
