Missing Sound

Hey Guys

So I tried to play a favorite game of mine, Borderlands, on the one. I did the update for it and started it up. It starts up and plays the game but the sound is missing. All I get is the background music for the game. No sound effects or characters talking.
Plus, the background music gets muted and the only way to bring it back is to go to the xbox home and then back to the game.

Any ideas of what's wrong? I like the game a lot, it's just a lot easier to play and enjoy when I can hear whats happening

Recently had xbox 360slim 250gb transferred data from old xbox H/D

to new console.now occasionally when playing the sound stops for about 6secs.

It never happened with the old style of xbox.

It seems to be Fifa12.Pes12 and Tiger Woods 13 i will clear my cache as you suggest and see what happens,Thanks

Have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the game?

Yes and the same problem still persists

 

Is it only with Borderlands, or is it with other backwards compatible titles as well?

 

I think it is only Borderlands, but I haven't tried any other games

 

When you get the chance, try it with a different backwards compatible game and let me know what happens.

 

I have tried other backwards compatible games and the sound works perfectly fine, except for Borderlands

Have you tried tinkering with the Xbox One audio settings? Let's hop into 'Display & sound' settings from the settings screen, then select 'Audio output'. From here, try changing your audio to 'Stereo uncompressed'. If your audio settings are already set
to 'Stereo uncompressed' and the issue is still occurring, please take the time to fill out this

I haven't tried Borderlands yet on my console, but I'm having selective audio problems in Lords Of The Fallen. Once I've been playing for about a 1/2-hour or so, the dialogue is muted. Other sounds still play, but I have to read subtitles to know what's
going on in conversations.

I'll check my audio settings as well to see if your fix helps.
