    Missing resolutions on XBSX on unaccustomed TV


    Hello everybody, I hope you're doing fine.

    I'm temporarily living in my parents place because my apartment is going through reconstructions.

    I was setting up my XBSX on the spare TV in my parents guest room, but the XB will only let me choose between 1080p or 720p resolution despite the manual stating the Screen would support up to 1920x1080.

    Here's the manual of the TV.

    What am I missing? I already tried different HDMI slots and hard resetting the XB.

    Any ideas?

    US XBSX work in Australia?

    So just so I sound smart when I tell him:

    The XBSX is dual voltage so just buy a power cord, DONT get a power converter.

    The XBSX is not region locked so games from anywhere in the world will work on it

    Now that everyone's gone to HDMI, there's also no issue with PAL/NTSC as far as a US XBSX hooking up to an Australian TV? (and yes, i'm pushing him towards one with HDMI 2.1 capability..lol).

    Lastly: DVD's? Blu-Ray? will Aussie ones work?

    P.S. How am I doing?

    Xbox series X and LG C2 problems.

    Thanks for your input, I had given up on my LG C2 to XBSX experience, been using an M32U monitor to play my XBSX, bought the repeater and the Fiber Optic Cable. Will post back on the results. My XBSX is the original one from 2020.

    Hi,

    Pretty much all 720P TV's have a PC resolution of 1368x768. This should be scaled down to 1280x720 without any black bars or missing information.

    Screen tearing .. Will it be fixed ?

    I think the reason some people see it and some don't is because of the display. If you play on a big tv with low resolution you won't see it. If you play on a high resolution monitor like me then it's impossible to miss. The screen tearing is awwful. It's
    too bad cuz this game is awesome.
