missing purchase history

I was wondering if anyone else has purchased a digital game only to find that it was no longer accessible and the purchase history had been deleted. I was told by microsoft that this could only happen if I had done a refund. but I never did that. I suspect
that someone is monitoring when a game is played last and doing illegal refunds.

Okay so I just logged onto my XBOX and it automatically logged me into that new XBOX Live account I had created. Apparently when I deleted the new Windows Live ID it did NOT delete the new XBOX Live Account. All the games (purchase history) I am missing
is under this account. I don't know how this happened as this is NOT my original XBOX Live Account. Is there any way to transfer them back to my original XBOX Live account and then delete this new XBOX Live Account permanently? Thanks!

Well now they are showing up under both accounts. So I guess all I need to do is find a way to delete the new XBOX Live Account so all I have is the original XBOX Live Account.

Refunds will still show up in your purchase history.

They will just show in the status as refunded instead of completed.

Hey there,

If you believe that someone is accessing your account to initiate something like a refund, be sure to change the password associated with your account. You can do that through the
Microsoft Account website, and be sure to have your account logged out of all devices so it requires the new password to be used.

If this hadn't happened before I would chalk it up as a mistake, but this isn't the first time something I purchased digitally vanished from my purchase history, therefore blocking me from accessing my purchase. When I try to contact microsoft it looks
like I never made the purchase and all my proof had been deleted. Its usually with games I no longer play. Maybe it shouldn't go down as a purchase but as a rental, then when it disappears off customers accounts after a couple of years they are not confused
and upset. As an accountant, I'm not likely to mistakenly purchase something and play it for a couple of years, and then come to you wondering why its no longer there. The mistake is on microsoft and I won't ever make a digital purchase again.
