Missing Pieces

For the past two days, I have been experiencing an issue with puzzle pieces missing. As I complete a puzzle in the collections, I notice that pieces are missing. Some of the pieces tend to be "hidden" underneath the settings panel (the area with the zoom
control, lock view, etc.). Since I am not using the premium version of Jigsaw, I can't move this area out of the way.

I'm finding that I have to back out of the puzzle and go back into it. When I do this, all the missing pieces are neatly aligned on the right edge of the screen. I wanted to attach a screenshot, but the link option is disabled and the insert media option
won't allow me to insert a jpg file. In this screenshot, I had finished the puzzle with all available pieces. I had to back out of the puzzle and go back into it. The screenshot shows how all the missing pieces are now aligned.

One thing I really like about the generations is the challenges that you're forced to complete. I think that this mechanic will really serve to separate the average player from the great players as only the best players will be proficient enough to be successful
with all the different weapons in the game.

Time will tell...

Ive heard there are also challenges before you can prestige. Early prestiges are easier of course, but around like 5 or 6th prestige (generation) you have to kill like 50 pilots while they have ejected and they are air born and stuff like that. Seems like
tough challenges and I dunno if those challenges are throughout your total gameplays or just during that prestige.

 

I've been experiencing the same thing. At first I was zooming in and dragging the screen over to the right and dragging all the pieces out, but then I accidentally discovered that if you drag the window so it fills half your screen and then put it back to
full screen the pieces are all aligned as you noted with your method. Rather annoying tho, nonetheless.

 

Thank you for your report. Have you tried using the Arrange option in the bar on the right?

 

I recently started to have the same problem after a MS update. I have now worked out how to solve it. If you open the folder where jigsaw.exe is located and right click on the file, then choose 'Properties' in the menu. When that dialog box opens, choose
the Compatibility tab. There will be several tick boxes. Tick the one that says 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings'. Then choose 'Apply' to close the box. Close the program and restart Windows. When you start Jigsaw again it should be fine.

We are currently investigating this issue.

 

I looked for houndsofshadows fix, but I do not fond "compatibility" in 8.1 on my surface.

I had all my pieces sorted out on screen by color and started putting together when I realized that pieces are missing, hidden under the settings panel. "arrange" brings them out, but it also undoes all of my previous sorting. Frustrating to think that
I have to buy The premium version just to avoid this frustration.

 

We are working on a permanent solution. You should be able to able to undo the arrangement of pieces after you have selected Arrange to get the missing pieces.
