Missing miscoroft currency from credits

hi all,

I haven't received my 20,000 credits converted into Microsoft currency. Its past the 30th. I wanted to use the funds to purchase a game on the spring sale, is there anything that can be done? Thank you in advance!

Buying games with shared payment options

This is working. Did that already by myself. At first the currency on your account will be used and the missing amount will then be taken from your credit card.

Xbox rewards program updated

Many of you may remember how due to the change from Microsoft points to actual currency, the rewards program was shut down. Well it's now back with a whole new reward scheme. Awarding gamers with everything from currency credit to discounts on purchases. The basic idea is everything you do gives you point and then eventually you can redeem said points in exchange for in-store currency. Your get points for doing everything from making purchases to simply playing games. Gamers with a high gamerscore even get a discount on purchases.

From the FAQ on Vault Credits:

I claimed Rewards Credits from the vault. When will I receive them?

If you claim Rewards Credits from the MyVIP Vault, they should appear as pending in your account within 96 hours. Once they are pending in your account, the normal deposit process kicks in. Generally if you have over 5,000 Rewards Credits pending in your
account in the first half of any given month, that amount will be converted to your local currency and deposited into your Microsoft account on or around the 30th of that same month. If the Credits show as pending in the second half of the month, that amount
will be deposited into your Microsoft account on or around the 15th of the next month.

Please note you need at least 5,000 Rewards Credits pending to automatically trigger a deposit, though you can request a deposit for the next scheduled date as long as you have 1,000 Credits pending. Also, if you have ongoing issues with us depositing
into your account, such as your account not matching up with your billing location, you might want to consider choosing a different prize from the vault, as we won’t be able to deliver your Rewards Credits until the deposit issue is resolved.

Hello Sal Eedy,

It sounds like you are confused about our currencies. Xbox Live Rewards Credits are not the same as MyVIP Gems. Gems are a type of currency that can be used to claim items from the MyVIP Vault at (https://rewards.xbox.com/en-US/myvip/vault/).
Rewards Credits are the Credits that are deposited into your account as currency.

I have the same concern. The response i evemtually got is this:

Credits have an associated, real currency value. As a promotional program managed by Microsoft, the Xbox Live Rewards program has a limited annual budget. This means that even though this is a digital, "fake" currency as users assume, all Rewards Credits
are backed by a real currency. This is how we are able to deposit Credits as currency, as Credits have a real currency value, and these Credits are not infinite. While users like to assume since this program is run by Microsoft, our program has an infinite,
billion dollar budget, that is not the case. If we were to award an infinite amount of Credits from the vault, our program would run out of budget and not be able to Reward on any of the offers on the MyMissions page or from payback on MyVIP. This is why we
rotate different prizes through the vault beyond just Rewards Credits, and Rewards Credits are not a part of every re-stock rotation.

Gems have a value of one credit. Gems do not have a currency value, and were a brand new promotional currency added as we tested out the new Vault/MyChallenges system. They can only be redeemed for prizes from the vault. Since we recognize that users have
grown attached to their Gems, we have assigned them a value of one Microsoft Point or Rewards Credit. But as a purely promotional type of currency, they have no associated real currency value. This is why prizes in the vault tiers can and do have different
retail values; there is no "1:1 ratio" for Gems"
