    Missing Minecraft Java edition after mojang account was merged


    Long, long ago, I bought Minecraft for PS4. That was linked to my primary email address, *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***.

    Later, I tried to use that same Mojang account to play Java edition. That didn't work, so I bought Java edition using a different email address, *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***.

    That email address had a Microsoft account associated with it, but this was before MS acquired Mojang, so the accounts were separate.

    Later, I bought Minecraft Win 10 edition using the Microsoft account associated with *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***.

    So at that point, I had:

    Mojang account w/Bedrock edition: *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (user name "")

    Mojang account w/Java edition: *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (user name "2")

    Microsoft account w/Win10 edition: *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** (user name "")

    SO... Dec 1, MS merges Mojang accounts with Microsoft accounts.

    Now, I can't find Java edition anywhere.

    When logged into my *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** MS account, I no longer see user name "2". I'm logged in as "" and I only see Win 10 edition.

    I've also checked the MS account for *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. ***. No dice.

    How do I get Java edition back? I don't want to purchase it again, given that I've already purchased this game 3 times.

    Did you try the Merge feature on MineCraft?
    It's best to read further information about it: Merging Minecraft Accounts.

    Also, by reading further:
    What will happen to my Mojang account after I migrate to a Microsoft account?

    You won't need it anymore! After migrating you'll use your Microsoft account to log in to the Minecraft Launcher to play the game and log in to minecraft.net to manage your settings.

    So perhaps try the Microsoft account.

    New Minecraft launcher won't connect since I changed my main alias from my Microsoft account.

    When Minecraft stopped working, I used my Microsoft account. And this issue happened after I changed my main alias from E-Mail 2 to E-Mail 1. I can play Minecraft if I log in with my E-Mail 2.

    I purchased Minecraft on my Mojang account before the migration, but I don't use my mojang account and that Microsoft account that was migrated to.

    With my Mojang account (E-Mail 1) migrated to Microsoft account (E-Mail 4) I bad the Java Edition. With my first Microsoft account (E-Mail 1, now 3) I had Minecraft Bedrock Edition. And with the other MIcrosoft account (E-Mail 2, now 1) I have both Java and Bedrock.

    I purchased Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Microsoft Account (E-Mail 1, now 3) from the Microsoft Store and I purchased Minecraft Bedrock Edition on my Microsoft account (E-Mail 2, now 1) from the Microsoft Store but the Java Edition I purchased from minecraft.net. On my Mojang account (E-Mail 1, now migrated to Microsoft Account with E-Mail 3) I bought Minecraft Java from minecraft.net.

    BRO IS NOT THE SAME MOST OF THE FUNCTION IN BEDROCK EDITION ARE MISSING IN MINECRAFT WINDOW EDITION. EXAMPLE NO F3 FUNCTION... THE GLASS ARE NOT MERGE HOW IT CAN BE CONSIDER ARE THE SAME VERSION.

    SOUND VERY GOOD JAVA AND BEDROCK EDITION BUNDLE CAME OUT BUT AT THE END TOTALLY NOT THE SAME EDITION IT JUST PUTTING MINECRAFT MOBILE INTO WINDOW NOT BEDROCK EDITION. I FEELS LIKE GET SCAMM BY THE TITLE THAT WHAT I BOUGHT.

    PAY AS SAME AMOUNT BUT I GET A MINECRAFT IN WINDOW BUT CANNOT PLAY BEDROCK WHAT A JOKE FOR THIS.

    I WANT MAKE REFUNDING FOR THIS ALSO CANNOT. TOTALLY GET SCAMM.

    IF CAN PLEASE HELP ME DO REFUNDING. I WANT CHANGE TO MOJANG ACCOUNT BUY MINECRAFT I DONT WANT TO USE MICROSOFT ACCOUNT BUY.

    Thank you for contacting the Xbox Support forums. To confirm, you have never had a Mojang account and still do not have an account, is that correct?
