Missing loot boxes for Overwatch: Game Of The Year Edition

I didn't receive the 10 free loot boxes that was supposed to come with the Game Of The Year Edition of Overwatch.

So when I buy loot boxes for overwatch I like to buy them off xbox.com while im sitting at work.

But finding them on the xbox store, or Microsoft store, is the most god awful cumbersome mess ever. They don't show up as DLC if you just search Overwatch. They don't appear under the Overwatch hub on xbox.com. And if I type in any combination of overwatch
or loot boxes...they don't show up either. I have to go to google or bing and type in overwatch - # loot boxes and follow a link from the search engine.

am I missing something or is it just that stupid?

Topic Problem with purchase

Xbox store for 2 hours and was told it is a Blizzard issue.

However Blizzard clearly state that for all console issues contact xbox.

Fix it or give my money back!

 

I got the 5 Origin skins but I don't have any other Blizzard games so I can't check to see if I got those rewards but the 10 loot boxes are missing

If you visit your DLC for the game under the "Manage" game option under Games & Apps, do you see all extra content as downloaded?

 

The thing is, the rewards aren't add-on's. I have no add-on's for the game but I got the 5 Origin skins. I'm missing the 10 loot boxes though.

Unfortunately if you're not seeing the loot boxes at this point your best option is to reach out to
Blizzard Support. In-game unlocks such as loot boxes aren't something we can assist with on our end. Thanks for your understanding and patience with this.

 

Do you know why I came to you guys? Because I've been to Blizzard Support twice and they can't do anything about my game because it's on Xbox, they have no access to anything. Why can't you guys do anything about it either? It's been frustrating going back
and forth to find both supports say they can't do anything and to contact the other. I don't know how I'm supposed to get my stuff

 

In-game unlocks for loot boxes are done on Blizzard's side of things. If you purchased the Game of the Year Edition you should receive automatic access to those loot boxes. As you mentioned, the 10 free loot boxes aren't part of an add-on, which would be
on our side of things. Be sure to provide proof of purchase to Blizzard support and let them know that we sent you to them with this information. Please keep us looped in with what they say.
