    Missing Dishonored 2 Pre-Order Bonus


    I purchased the game, specifically through the Xbox Store dashboard advertisement "DISHONORED 2 - Last chance to pre-order this exciting new game." on my Xbox One console.

    My concern lies in that the Xbox Store advertises a free copy of the Dishonored: Definitive Edition with any "Pre-Order" and I did not receive one even though I did receive the OTHER pre-order bonus of the "Imperial Assassin Pack"

    As such, I contacted Microsoft Support's Billing & Sales department, who then referred my to Xbox One's Support center, which ultimately lead me to the General Sales & Promotions forum to resolve my issue.

    So, why haven't I received my game?

    Dishonored 2 pre order bonus

    You won't receive a code for the game. The game should show as free to download in the store. If you're a member of the preview program and preordered from the console, you will not be able to download the game until you are actually charged for the game
    about 2 weeks before Dishonored 2 is released.

    I pre ordered Dishonoed 2 because I felt like playing Dishonored Definitive Edition so I thought I may as well pre order the second game and get the first free. But I never recieved a code for the Definitive Edition. Xbox support told me to wait 7-10 days
    but after 2 weeks I still have no code and now support sent me here to wait longer.

    the same thing just happened to me as well which is how i found this post. i feel like were being given the run around. when ever i have an issue with sony they resolve it immediately but it seems microsoft just pushes you around. . .sigh

    Keep in mind that you won't receive a code for that game. It should show as free to download in the marketplace.

    You shouldn't receive a code. The game should show as free to purchase from the store. If not, post back here and support will check into it for you.
    I just checked the store and it's telling me that I can buy it for 10 dollars. It doesn't show up as free :(
