Missing channels in UK OneGuide for Freeview Meridian(South East) OTA

Same problem here, im confident its an issue with the online guide and its just not updated on there end, i have a list of about 20 channels that appear after 734 out of sync with what would be the a normal guide list, all these channels have no info available,
its very dissapointing is it stops me using my xbox as my primary tv source.

I have been playing with the idea of trying to set up the guide with different post codes hoping i will find an up to date list of channels

TV Tuner One Guide problems

Hi,

I am having a problem getting the one guide to work (I am in the UK).

When setting up the tuner I get Freeview - Meridian digital and OTA as options.

If I choose digital I get all the channels with some duplicates (even though is is set to hide duplicate SD channels) but the one guide is empty, however, the now and next panel seems to work i.e. has information.

If I choose OTA I get the full one guide but BBC2, ITV and channel 4 are missing. i.e. the guide goes from 1 straight to channel 5.

Anyone else getting this?

Choosing Freeview National Lineup doesn't seem to make much difference.

Should the one guide populate immediately or is this a bug?

Missing channels in OneGuide even though they're found during setup (UK Freeview)

I had exactly the same problem. I managed to fix mine last night. Firstly reset TV and then retune the TV. When it asks the service (after you put in postcode) select freeview. I had an option to select Freeview OTA Broadcast or something like that. Just
select Freeview. It will then try to pin you down, so I selected Freeview OTA Broadcast. After tuning it showed all the channels in the oneguide. Hope it works for you too.

Have you tried simply retuning it?

 

Ofcourse, i do it every now and then, hoping it might work properly, this has been an on goinf issue for years

 

Thank you, I have seen this help guide before, and i hope some people find it useful, in my case unfortionatly it doesnt, i regularly clear my guide and retune hoping for better results, my best guess is that the guides freeview channel data is simply out
of date on microsofts end, placing unfamiliar channels at the end of guide with no programming infomation.

Thanks for your response. If the troubleshooting steps given earlier have not resolve the issue, try out a soft factory reset. A soft factory reset will keep your games and applications installed but will remove profiles and reset the operating system as
an effort to download the most stable version of the OS. To do so follow the steps here:

Xbox One Factory Reset and be sure to select "Reset and keep my games & apps". Before performing the reset, make sure to keep your Microsoft account information available to prevent any sign in issues.
