Missing channel icons

Since last update, my oneguide now shows no icon on channels. Makes it hard to see which channel is which as the channel names only appear when selected.

2 cays ago the channel icons on oneguide went away and just the channel names show up. Is this happening for anyone else, and how do I fix it? I have gone through the power cycle process, and clearing the oneguide and history. Is anyone else having this
issue?

 

Hey, Sliverin! Sorry to see that they've gone missing! Have you set up your OneGuide again? Sometimes that little refresh is just what the console needs to put things right again. Let me know if that works for you!

 

Yeah, reset everything, several times, cleared caches, setup tv again, even selected a different provider and no go. Strange thing is half went missing the first day, then after turning on the next day, they were all gone.

 

Interesting! That is quite weird indeed.

Have you tried selecting a zip/postal code near you to see if that fixes it? You'll want to make sure your provider offers cable in that same area when you do. Let me know how that works.

 

How do I change postcode. At the moment , the setup is free to air tv using xbox one usb tuner, region is Brisbane, QLD, Australia. The channel data and info is correct, the only problem is it lists all the channels by number, 1,2,3,4,5 and I don't know
what channel is what without selecting. Hence the reliance on the channel icons. This only happened after last update about a week and 1/2 ago.

 

Just a quick update, the same thing happens on my Xbox app for windows 10. Go to one guide on the app and all the channels appear with no icons.

 

You should be able to change the postal code when you set it up initially, so you will have to reset up the OneGuide.

OK, for the life of me, there is no postcode setup. Reset the one guide and tv tuner, all it asks for is my provider, which I select "Freeview - Brisbane" Sent you a PM with my postcode.

Just had an update to my Xbox. Icons are now back.
