Missing Alan Wake code

Hello,

I bought the disk version, and started it up early last month. I expected the code(s) to be on a piece of paper in the box, but no such luck. After googling, I found other disk buyers with the same complaint, and a couple of whom reported back again saying
they received the code via XBL message. I have not been so lucky. I already have The Signal and The Writer DLC from when I played Alan Wake years ago, but I would still like a digital code for the main game if I can get it.

Quantum Break Windows 10 code missing

I am as well still missing Quantum Break Windows 10 code as well as any Alan Wake codes.

 

Alan Wake & Alan Wake American Nightmare Codes

Promotion Details: By buying Quamtum Break I was to receive a code for Alan Wake. As it was a presale purchase, it's also received a code for Alan Wake American Nightmare. The expected date for the codes to be sent was 7-10 days after Quantum
Break's release (the game was released on April 5th)

Date of Purchase: The product was bought in April 4th.

Promo Itens Missing: Both Alan Wake and Alan Wake American Nighmare codes.

 

You would have to contact the retailer you purchased it from for an exchange

Yes, anytime you purchase a physical item and it's missing a code or other part, you have to go to the retailer. However, something else I completely forgot about, Alan Wake was delisted on May 15. So even with the code, it would not be able to be downloaded. This is your last chance to buy 'Alan Wake'

 

That's not how XBL codes work. They remain valid even after a game is delisted unless they are purged from existence. Alan Wake codes still work, and are for sale on Amazon and other 3rd party key sellers. The fact that the game is delisted merely means
that no NEW codes can be CREATED (legally due to licensing), but OLD codes still work.

Just to be clear, I played the game a week and a half before AW was delisted.

I also think you don't know what you're talking about with this particular promotion. Thanks anyway. If someone more familiar can help, I'll gladly accept.
