Missing 30,000 ($30) Rewards Points - Expiring Today 12/26

Hello,

I received an email last month that my promotional rewards points would be expiring on December 26th. When I went to my account yesterday to try to redeem them I was unable to locate the points. I checked both the Xbox rewards page and the Microsoft rewards
page multiple times. I reached out to the Microsoft Chat support and was directed to post here by Mike L (I have the chat script saved as a HTML file). Additonally I still have the email with the notice of expiry.

Please let me know what I need to do in order to redeem these rewards points.

Trouble with renewal of Xbox Live Gold

Same problem here. My sub was expiring on June 28. Just added a 12 month sub today November 27. And my new expiring date is November 26!?

Credits are not immediately placed into your Microsoft Account on completion of an offer. It takes time to process Credits for deposit. Credits are initially placed as pending in your Rewards Account. These pending, un-deposited Credits can be reviewed from
your MyStatement on the MyRewards page. I see that both your 15,000 for the Design Labs controller offer and your Rewards Story completion are currently pending in your account.

These pending Credits require one deposit cycle to process. A general rule of thumb is Credits pending on the 1st through 15th will be deposited in the end of month deposit. Credits pending on the 16th through the 31st will be deposited in the mid-month
deposit the following month. Since your Credit events were around the 21st, you should expect to see them deposited as usable currency into your Microsoft Account in the mid-month deposit cycle in January.

 

Once credits are deposited into your account, the Rewards program no longer has access to them. You would need to continue working with billing for assistance.

Unfortunately, once Credits are deposited as currency into your Microsoft Account, we no longer have any control or visibility over them. You would have to reach out to Xbox billing support (Contact Us | Xbox Support)
for more assistance. This is outlined in our Terms and Conditions, which states that currency in your Microsoft Account expires after one year:

Cash awarded and deposited into your Account from Rewards Credits during the Program must be redeemed within one (1) year, or it will expire. Any cash awarded and deposited remaining in your Account after the expiration period described above will be forfeited
without compensation.

Note that this is a general Microsoft rule for promotional currencies, such as our Rewards Credits.
