Missed the discount window for Elite: Dangerous

OK this is a bit silly, but maybe you will be willing to help...

Yesterday I finally managed to go through Elite: Dangerous trial, which I couldn't really sink my teeth into until now, and man did I love the game. So happy I was to see it discounted! So I told to myself "OK, I will sleep on it and buy it tomorrow if I
don't have a change of mind". Far from it, I was. Quite the opposite - I couldn't stop thinking about the game the whole day. So I come back from work, even managed to talk a friend into buying the game with me (on the strength of discounted price), only to
discover that the reduced cost only applied *until exactly yesterday*.

What a bad luck.

Now the difference in price is substantial, big enough to push the game from "I must totally buy it" to "Nah, I have plenty of other games". If only I bought it yesterday...

So - any chance for me to buy it on the discounted price just a day later? Or no way, the deal is off, sorry, better luck next time? I'm pretty sure it's the latter, but if there's any chance I could still benefit from the discount I would be immensely grateful
for the opportunity to give you my money.

I know this is asking much and entirely my fault for not checking the timing of the deal, but here's hoping.

I want my gold discount please! Elite Dangerous

Hi I am what you consider a "gamer" and I just bought Elite Dangerous. There is nothing wrong with the game itself it is actually fine, but the problem was with the price I was charged. Now elite dangerous is discounted for twenty dollars. Because of the
discount my friend recommended it to me, so i bought it. However the problem is that i was charged full price instead of the discount I was hoping to receive. Is there some way any one can fix this plz, I feel conned.

Unfortunately, once a promotion ends there is no way to get that price until it goes on sale again. For future reference, sales always start on Tuesdays. So if you see something on Monday, that's usually the last day of the sale.
