missed taken king promo on monday, any way to still get a discount on it?

Unfortunately game offers have a time frame on them, if you have missed the offer there is no way to purchase it at the discounted price once the offer has ended. It's likely new offers may be introduced at a later date however it's not garanteed.

The box at the bottom of the homescreen is always reserved as an advertising block. I'm assuming there is a promo right now with The Taken King where you can get a free download of Destiny if you buy a certain package or something along those lines. As of
right now, no one can get Destiny for free unless it's tied into a purchase promo.

I also have not received any promo code from this same promo event. I thought it was just gonna be considered free and not have to get a promo code. Money has been taken out. Didn't get a email or nothing about this promo so i have no way of knowing if
it ever meant through.

I did it through Xbox one.

I am aware that the Xbox One isn't backwards comaptiable yet. But is there any way I can get a redeem code for my digital download copy of the Taken King DLC since I bought it on Xbox 360?

I think the taken king is included in the expansion pass. i just picked up a code for the expansion and two DLC and taken king quests seem to be there to play. Its a completely different game now - I cant believe how cheated we were when we bought the 'vanilla'
version at launch. Its so much better now. It would have been nice if I had been able to pick the stuff up at a discount - but there you go. Good luck!
