    Minesweeper instantly crash with system locale Italian


    Using Windows 8.1. Set system locale to Italian and minesweeper will stop working, instantly crash after being clicked. Surprisingly there is still no fix from Microsoft. Is there any Microsoft stuff reading this forum? Could you please at least submit a
    bug report?

    Win 8.1 upgrade breaks Minesweeper when system locale is Chinese

    Using Windows 8.1. Set system locale to Chinese and minesweeper will stop working, instantly crash after being clicked.

    The top comment for minesweeper in Windows Store says that Win 8.1 upgrade breaks minesweeper totally. 560+ ppl voted it up. It's posted 2 months ago (Oct. 2013). Surprisingly there is still no fix from Microsoft. Is there any Microsoft stuff reading this
    forum? Could you please at least submit a bug report?

    A particular crash for daily challenge - treasure hunt

    FYI: the same bug is present in Microsoft Minesweeper, latest version, Italian language.

    If you play a "treasure hunt" daily challenge with no end animation, when you find the last treasure surrounded by ladybugs the app crashes.

    Yes, I can assure you that I am reading this forum and this issue was reported. The issue is that Minesweeper is not available in Italy at the moment due to restrictions in your country. This is why the game crashes- because the game is not supported in
    your country. My manager is aware of this issue and he is investigating to see if restrictions in Italy have changed as such that we can make Minesweeper available in the Windows Store. Thank you for your patience. Minesweeper instantly crash with system locale Italian :)

    Unfortunately it is not 😞

    Even if the app is translated in Italian, as show here

    apps.microsoft.com/.../ROW

    it is not searchable in the windows store or by opening the link in the windows store shows nothing.

    as per the crash, it doesn't actually crashes, no error messages are shown, but it simply goes "in the background": while minesweeper is loading, the screen suddenly goes back to the start screen even if the app is still running (by swiping from left it
    brings back the app -minesweeper- but after a few seconds the screen goes back to the start menu). The app never loads 😞

    Could it be because till windows 7 we had a different version of minesweeper in Italy called "prato fiorito" (flower fields)?
