    Minecraft's In-game-name for redeemed codes.

I got Minecraft: Java ed. through a gift code (Redeem code) and when I tried changing my in-game name I couldn't seem to find the game in my Minecraft profile. It does not show that I even own the game. Is that normal? If not, how can I fix this?

    :)

How do i know my minecraft is running on gamepass or its bought (i dont know coz i won from giveaway)

Hi, Shadow! thank you for reaching out.

My name is AJ, I'm an Independent Advisor for the Xbox Community.

To clarify, did you redeem a code for Minecraft?
  3. Darhyl Amizola Win User

I redeemed Minecraft java but it says that I don't own it.

Hi Albert! My name is Darhyl and I’d be more than happy to help you with your query.

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your Minecraft Java game.

Based on your description, the codes might have been redeemed to a different account.

Kindly make sure that the codes were redeemed to your account by signing into account.microsoft.com > payment and billing > order history > select the date of range when you redeemed your game Minecraft.

If the redeemed transaction doesn't show up, this means that the codes were redeemed to a different account. Check your other Xbox email accounts' order history.

If the redeemed transaction shows up, please sign out and re-sign into your Microsoft/Minecraft account then check if you will be able to launch the game.

Thank you for your kindness and understanding! Please feel free to let me know if you need anything else.

    Best Regards,
    Darhyl
