Minecraft Xbox Series X - Error you are out of data storage space

Hi there,

Last night I got this error message "Error you are out of data storage space", so I deleted all local content and maybe cloud content as well?. I say maybe as the list shows all my others worlds in the list that I can re-download if I want to.

I then restarted Minecraft and tried to download my current game world "The Dark Below" and it failed about 60% of the way through, so I closed down for the night and went to bed as I was tired.

I wake up this morning and try again only to find that "The Dark Below" isn't in the list anymore and instead is a world whose name is some random letters and characters that is 0.01MB is size?!? "The Dark Below" is roughly 360MB in size.

Where is my "The Dark Below" world??? The last build I did in it took me months and I had just finished it. Now it's gone?!?!? Please tell me you can restore this world for me.

I have the same issue. It doesn't matter what world it is, I always get this message. I've created and deleted atleast 5 survival worlds and re-downloaded the game 3 times. Im using a 1TB hard drive and my most recent world to do this is 17MB. It seems
hard to believe that each world gets corrupted over and over again. This issue does not seem to be on my end, but on microsofts. Please fix this. Running version 1.12.0 Windows 10 edition.

I'm assuming you are on PC seeing as this thread was moved from the Windows section of the forums. Do you just have one storage device where you save everything Minecraft related or do you have two? Are you sure that world is not saving to a drive that is
almost full? With over 850 GB free, this error shouldn't be occurring if the world giving you trouble is saved on to the same drive. Then you say a world that is 17GB, way bigger than the other one, saves fine. it could be that world has a corrupted save.

I recommend re-installing the game and restarting your PC, make a copy of the saved world and delete the original one and then let us know if just that one world still cannot save.
