Minecraft Xbox one edition world isn’t appearing in the “sync old world” tab on the newer...

Hi Diego,

Unfortunately this didn’t work. The world was previously transfered to the newer minecraft prior to making this thread. However, I continued to play and progress on the Minecraft Xbox One edition world (mainly due to the difference in texture, but i found
a texture pack that has the orginal textures.) With that being said, the world is still not appearing in the “sync old world” tab. Any more tips moving forward?

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums . I'd be happy to help.

It is possible your recent save from the Xbox One edition is not properly syncing your save data from 7/20/19, since I'm sure the new edition recognizes world's that are backed up to Xbox Live cloud and on the Xbox One that happens automatically when connected
to Xbox Live and whenever you quit the game or restart your Xbox.

First, load up the world you want to transfer from the Xbox One edition and overwrite the save with a fresh save of your world so that you can update the date to today and update the data on the cloud. Then quit the game by pressing the menu button when
in the Home screen and then
power cycle your Xbox. When the console reboots, sign in and load up the newer digital version of Minecraft and follow the same process to sync old worlds and see what date it shows from the menu.

The way to do it in the New Minecraft (Bedrock Edition) Is to sign into the profile that created the world on the Xbox One Edition and under the Worlds tab like Nikolaus81 mentioned, you might need to select "Sync Old Worlds" in
order to see them in the list though.

When you play the new Minecraft on your Xbox One console, you’ll will be able to sync your existing worlds from the Xbox One Edition. Additionally, if you have a Realms subscription then your realms will
also appear on your Windows 10, iOS, Android, Kindle, or Gear VR devices (if you own them).

To sync your worlds from the Xbox One Edition to Minecraft:

1. Sign into your console with the account that you previously saved your Xbox One Edition world with.
2. Launch Minecraft and select Play from the main menu.
3. On the Worlds tab, select Sync Old Worlds if your existing games haven’t already been migrated.
   
4. Select the world that you want to migrate and wait for conversion to complete.
5. Your world will now sync to the new Minecraft when you sign in.

In addition to world sync, certain skin pack, texture pack, and mash-up pack purchases that you made on the console will also be available when you play the new Minecraft, and on your other devices.
