    Minecraft Xbox One discount from owing it on 360


    I purchased Minecraft on the 360 in 2011 and now I am not getting the $10 off discount to buy it for the One. I would like to know if the discount is still active, if so please inform me on how to access the discount. Also, I have moved my Xbox Live account
    to a different Microsoft account since purchasing the game. Thank you for your help.

    Hi there!

    I found a support article about upgrading from Xbox 360 Minecraft to Xbox One Minecraft.

    On that page it says:

    "Make sure you’re using the Xbox Live account that you used to play Minecraft on Xbox 360.

    If you haven't launched Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition since before September 2014, do so. That will apply an update that will help verify that you’ve played the game. After the update, it will take up to 72 hours before the discount offer is available
    on your Xbox One."

    Question, Have you purchased Minecraft on Xbox 360 and connected it to your profile? Also have you tried to Actually purchase Minecraft Xbox One Edition? You should take a look at this post:

    You missed out the offer was only available for the first year it released on the one, so you should have been quicker lol
