Minecraft Xbox Edition only lets me play the trial despite owning it for 7 years

Minecraft came with my Xbox one s when I got it in 2016. All of a sudden when I wanted to play it yesterday it asked if I wanted to play the trial. I tried reinstalling it and it didn’t work.

Yes I know the game no longer receives updates and I was able to play it the other day but all of the sudden the full game is no longer in my library same for bedrock edition.

I'm sorry to tell you that Minecraft Xbox One Edition was discontinued years ago due to the Bedrock update. That's the reason you can't play.

It shows the game as “Owned” in the Microsoft store but it’s only letting me download the free trial. It’s definitely the right account, I have 88 races completed and am level 7, but it’s still only downloading the free trial.

Hi Alex, yes. this means that you own the bedrock edition on Xbox.

Maybe you joined to the Minecraft for windows 30 days trial and this is why you were able to play the game (of course, this if you only have one email address)

You may get this error for the possible reasons

If you're not logged into the Microsoft Account that owns Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, the Microsoft or Xbox Store will show that you don't own the game and offer you the Trial version. Please make sure you're signed into the Microsoft Account that owns Minecraft.

If you're trying to play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition on PC or Xbox, but only have access to the Trial version, you might not have bought Minecraft.
