Minecraft worlds missing and some lost progress.

So i switched from a regular xbox one to an xbox one x. when i went ahead and reinstalled minecraft, it asked me a question when i first loaded in. something about cloud save and it gave me two options. this was a couple weeks ago but i feel that it has some significance. anyways, now i wanted to play, and some of my worlds wont load. the picture on the side being greyed out. and some worlds that were on my old xbox that managed to load onto my new xbox have reversed a lot of changes. i had a pretty nice filled out flat world, and now its back to the near beginning where i had a couple houses. whenever i click on the worlds that dont load in, it says syncing user data. it syncs, and then it says failed. any help

Try to retrieve the lost save from the cloud.

To do that, Go to My games & apps.

- Highlight the game.

- Press the Menu button and select Manage game and add-ons.

- Go to saved Data and clear local saves.

- Then, Select the game tile, and then choose Select all to make sure all available content gets installed.

- Select Save changes and wait for the content to install.

- Relaunch the game.

My world synced Every time I saved it, what is the point in playing the game if all progress can just be lost!!! It's a complete waste of time, they can't tell me how the world got corrupted which means it's absolutely pointless playing Minecraft as at any
point the world can disappear

Like I said though, they didn’t offer any help last time.

They said it was a bug and that there was nothing they could do to help but suggested I submit a bug report to make sure others don’t face this problem in the future.

They didn’t offer any troubleshooting help so why would it be different if I asked a second time?

Regarding your issue, it would be best that you try contacting Mojang again. They will be able to provide you with in-game troubleshooting steps from their side, since the ones you have tried on the console did not resolve the issue.

Thanks for your post. Have you lost progress in any other games? You may want to try recovering your world by using the option "Sync Old Worlds" in the Minecraft Menu.
