Minecraft world won't load help

I would suggest you to contact Mojang support for in-game issues, meanwhile making a copy of the world you create is always a good idea to avoid such issues.

Sorry to say, but everything points to a corrupted world :c

If you didn't make a.backup of that world,.you may need to start a new one

Thanks for confirming. Here's something you can try: When creating or loading the Minecraft world you want to play split screen, go to the Multiplayer tab in the side bar and disable 'Multiplayer game'. Then load the world and attempt to join with the second controller.

If it doesn't work, try deleting and reinstalling the game (This won't delete any saved worlds as they are backed up in the cloud). This won't allow you to connect to your son's friends, but try disabling internet access and then loading minecraft. That should at least let your son access his worlds.
