Minecraft World says there is a newer version, but there isn’t.

It might be a complication with the age of the world, it may not be compatible with newer versions of minecraft.

Are you using Minecraft Xbox One Edition or Minecraft? It is not possible to transfer to the newer version of Minecraft. You would need the older Minecraft Xbox One Edition in order to transfer the worlds.

When I try to acess a world on Minecraft it says a newer version of the game had saved this level. I dont think i was in the beta testing but i dont know so can any one just help me just a bit.

Hello, im ayden I forgot my email account for the original account but whatever. Almosts all of the worlds are openable and convertable there’s only one other world having the same issue. I’ve searched and haven’t found an answer. The error states nothing about the world being corrupted it just says it’s having errors converting the world. The minecraft xbox one version cannot open the world, and the newest version of minecraft cannot convert the world. It syncs xbox data and then stays at 0% before prompting the error “something went wrong with world conversion.” This isn’t all the sudden I’ve tried a few months prior and it said the same thing. The mini games for minecraft was only on the xbox one edition.

The newer version which is Bedrock edition does not have the mini games as the other one. Instead they have servers that acts as mini games.

To know the difference is the xbox one edition will say "Xbox One edition" under the minecraft name.

While the bedrock edition will just say minecraft.

You might have gotten the newer version while your friends still has the older version of the game on Xbox one.
