Minecraft World Dissapered After Power and Wifi Loss

I was happily playing Minecraft with my brother and sister on a world we've had for a while. So many good times and memories have been made on that world.

In the middle of playing one night the power and wifi went out and didn't come back until the next day. I would say a total of 15 hours without wifi. When I tried loading the world in this morning it simply didn't come up. We tried restarting the Xbox and
nothing happened.

I went into our old worlds, went through the settings, and looked up how to fix this. I really don't know how to get my world back.

If anyone can help get my world back that would be very appreciated.

I have the same problem. I was playing one night and the power went out. The world didn't save, and it seems like I lost everything which really sucks.

If anyone could reply and get an answer that would be amazing.

When you go to manage game an apps does it still have the local save data?

Thanks for your post. I'm sorry to hear that the data has not been able to be recovered. Have you attempted to check the save file for past versions? Windows 10 does include some file recovery features that can asses the situation. Usually, if a game save
has been lost due to a power outage or a similar event, the data can be corrupted and lost. If methods available can not recover the saved data, it may be that said data is gone.

From my xbox and the xbox app and its not just mine i cant see my friends siege clips to they just dissapered but all my minecraft and fortnite clips are still there

The issue seems to be at the OS level. My old Xbox One has been working fine for quite a long time until an software update a few months ago. After that, with instant on enables Xbox randomly losses ability to see any WiFi networks (sometimes there is a
period of a graduate decay of functionality, when after wake it's able to find WiFi connection after a couple minutes pause, but eventually it goes into complete loss of WiFi connectivity and inability to see any WiFi networks around).

At first I suspected my old Xbox hardware, but recently I got a new Xbox One X and after a couple of weeks it got exactly in the same state as the old one.

So, all indicators are pointing towards a bug in Xbox OS (Win 10 presumably).

A workaround that seem to help in my case is a cold boot (unplugging Xbox power cord).
