Minecraft World Didn't Update

Hello!

I recently transferred my world to a new computer. I had no issues with this process, and the worlds seem to run fine. However, the new Minecraft mobs and blocks aren't available. Nothing in the update is. I've spent a long time on this map and would hate to not be able to use these. All experiments were on and still are. What happened, and how can I fix this?

Have you checked the updates on Minecraft Launcher, Microsoft Store, or Xbox App?

Son of a biscuit. I don't want to start a new world. So does this mean everytime there is a new update adding biomes or pistons, or whatever that I have to start over? didn't think that happened on Minecraft PC version

Well, it depends what was shown in the picture of your Minecraft world.

If you built something that depicted something that violated the Code of Conduct (for example, you placed a sign, wrote a nasty message on it, snapped a picture of the nasty message sign and posted that), then you can get suspended for that.

So you probably didn't get banned for simply posting pictures of a Minecraft world, but probably for what was shown in the Minecraft world.

Since you didn't provide information what was shown in the picture, we can only assume and speculate.

The Minecraft your using on the One, is it labelled "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" or just "Minecraft"? After the update to Minecraft, it is no longer possible to import 360 worlds. You would need the original version, Minecraft Xbox One Edition, in order
to transfer the world.

Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums with this issue. A few months ago, a Beta version of Minecraft for their upcoming update was mistakenly released, causing many games to update and if a world was opened during the Beta, then if you've returned
to the current version you will need to wait until Minecraft fully updates to the version that was under beta testing before they will be available.

Another possibility is that you're using a previous version of Minecraft for Xbox One and have updated to the new Minecraft "Better Together" version. If this is the case, then you simply need to sync your worlds.

Minecraft updates and versions

To sync your worlds from the Xbox One Edition to Minecraft:

Sign into your console using the account with which you previously saved your Xbox One Edition world.
Launch Minecraft, and then select Play from the main menu.
On the Worlds tab, select Sync Old Worlds if your existing games haven’t already been migrated.
Select the world that you want to migrate and wait for the conversion to complete.
Your world will now sync to the new Minecraft when you sign in.
